In the first segment, called "Doing," we will focus on techniques to quiet the busy mind and explore four different forms of meditation: Focused, Mindful, Mantra, and Spiritual.

Throughout the segment, we will gradually increase the duration of our practice from 5 minutes to 40 minutes or longer. This progression will allow you to deepen your meditation experience by quieting the agitation that prevents us from successfully practicing.

    Learning Meditation Basics and Best Practices, Discussing the History of Meditation, and Experiencing “Focused” Meditations

    Engaging in Various Mindfulness Exercises, Discovering Self-Awareness Processing Techniques, and Engaging in “Mindfulness” Meditations

  • 4:00-5:30 PM - EXPANDING OUR INNER KNOWING

    Exploring the Chakras, Learning some Basic Mantras, Bijas, and Mudras, and Exploring Simple “Mantra” Meditations

Q+A, Guided Meditation + Cacao Ceremony

  • 7:00-8:15 AM: morning yoga (optional)

  • 9:00-11:30 AM - WALKING OUR TALK & CACAO CEREMONY

    Reflective Discussion on Insights Gained in Saturday’s Session, Offering Support for Students’ At-Home Practices, Discovering a “Spiritual” Guided Meditation, and Participating in a Closing Cacao Ceremony
